Long term system reliability for systems using SMD-0 and SMD-E Disk Drives now can be greatly enhanced. All types of these existing long in service drives can be directly replaced by installation of all-new SMD Drive upgrade.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION.

No Software changes needed, just unplug the two cables from the existing unit and reconnect to our unit.

WARRANTY.

Wilson provides a One year warranty on the Bridge controller and carries the disk drive mfg. warranty, which is usually Three years.  FOB Orange, CA.

HIGH DATA RELIABILITY.

Wilson Drives use SCSI-interface technology.  Error correction is resolved on-the-fly inside the drive.  Continuous self-test on the disk drive.

LOWER POWER AND HEAT.

Three and one-half inch SCSI disk drives used by Wilson require only half the operating power needed by 8 or 14 inch disk drives.  The lower power causes less heat which extends system component life to  improve total system reliability.

80 to 1.2 Gigabyte capacity. Replaces CDC 9762, 9766, 9715-340, 9715-515, Fujitsu 2300 series and others.

Total interface compatibility.  Single or dual-port inputs available. Transfer rates to 24 Mbits/sec.
