the introduction of a new drive controller to
replace Maxtor EXT-4380 & EXT-8760 disk drives,
customers now can return to long term reliability.
Because
no new Maxtor drives were available, users have to
use repaired drives for replacements.
HIGH
DATA RELIABILITY
Wilson
Drives use SCSI-interface technology.
Error correction is resolved on-the-fly
inside the drive.
Maxtor drives, based on older ESDI
technology, report data errors to the controller,
which signals drive failure after exceeding the
preset error limits.

LOWER
POWER AND HEAT
Three
and one-half inch SCSI disk drives used by Wilson
require only half the operating power needed by Maxtor
drives.
The lower power causes less heat which
extends system component life to improve total
system reliability.

INSTALLATION
Jumpers
select either 380mb or 760mb capacity and the drive
unit number in the system.

Wilson provides a One YEAR factory replacement
warranty, FOB

CA. This Compares to a THREE MONTH Maxtor drive
