Micropolis 1325,1335 and all Seagates series MFM
interfaces from 3 ½ half high to 5 ¼ half
High and 5 ¼ full height. disk drives. Customers now
can return to long term reliability,
Because no new MFM interface drives were available,
users have to use repaired
drives for replacements.

DATA RELIABILITY
Wilson Drives use SCSI-interface technology. Error
correction is resolved on-the-fly inside the drive.
MFM drives, based on older technology, report data
errors to the controller, which signals drive
failure after exceeding the preset error limits.

POWER AND HEAT
Three and one-half inch SCSI disk drives used
by Wilson require only half the operating power
needed by other drives. The lower power causes less
heat which extends system component life to improve
total system reliability.
